Special Equipment Program
With our passion for empowering children to reach their true potential, one of the best ways to do this is by providing children with special equipment. Through our clinics, we access what would make children's lives more empowering and mobile through home visits and our assessment clinics. We work with the Mulago Occupational Therapy Department in Kampala, where we purchase our equipment. We strive to provide special equipment for children with physical disabilities, such as wheelchairs or adapted equipment, leg splints and hand splints, so that our children can participate fully in community activities. By removing barriers and promoting inclusion, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive and contribute to their community. A generous donor gave us the opportunity last July to purchase three wheelchairs and distribute them to our children.
How much do you want to donate? For every $150 we purchase a good wheelchair. Tailored for the child.
Mobility in any form is of course important for everyone! That's why, of course, and certainly also for our children. Mobility is perhaps one of the preconditions for life for this group of children.
